ICLEASM is the first international conference organized by the South Asian Lightning Networks (SALNet) which was established in 2019 by the participation of several SAARC Nations. In organizing this event, SALNet joins hands with The Atmospheric and Material Science Research Center (AMSRC) of the Department of Physics, Amrit Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
The aim of this international conference is to share and discuss the latest research findings on lightning electromagnetics and their impact on state-of-art technology and the application of semi-conductor material in sensing lightning activities. The conference will also provide an opportunity for scientists, engineers, and scholars from developing countries to get acquainted with the advances in this field. We are planning to organize similar events biennially in different developing countries.
